The AzeeMed Schluger File 9/10 is a periodontal surgical instrument that removes very hard, tenacious calculus and plane roughened root surfaces in periodontal surgery. The instrument is used to shape and smooth irregularities of the root surface following scaling and debridement and promotes proper gum healing. The instrument has a substantial, serrated working end that cuts and planes hardened calculus off the tooth root using its multiple cutting edges. The working end is ideal for areas where calculus has been tightly adhered or is very difficult to remove using scalers alone. The instrument is made from surgical grade stainless steel for a durable and high quality instrument with excellent strength and corrosion resistance.
