23 Explorer & CP8 Probe
The AzeeMed 23 Explorer & CP8 Probe is a double ended dental diagnostic instrument used to examine the mouth and evaluate periodontal tissues. The No. 23 explorer is the shepherd's hook end and is used to identify carious lesions and tooth surface irregularities, or any calculus or defective margins. The other end of the instrument is the CP8 periodontal probe. The CP8 probe has marked lines for measuring pocket depths, assessing gingival status and determining periodontal conditions. This instrument is usually made from high-grade stainless steel and is hard-wearing, non-corrosive and easily sterilized. The instrument has a lightweight handle that is ergonomic and allows good grip and control. It is a two-in-one diagnostic instrument and is ideal for everyday dental examination in general dentistry and periodontics.
