1N Nabers Explorer
A AzeeMed 1N Nabers Explorer Stainless Steel, instrument specifically designed to evaluate the depth of furcation involvement on multirooted teeth. It has a curved blunt working end which helps the tip enter the furcation area easily and without injury to the soft tissues. This instrument usually has mm markings etched onto it to measure how far the furcation is involved (common markings: 3 mm, 6 mm, 9 mm and 12 mm). It has an overall length of about 16–18 cm, a width of the working end of about 0.5-0.7 mm which allows the instrument tip access to the tight confines of the furcation. It is made of stainless steel, and the working end has a non reflective (satin) finish.
